January 2019

Energy efficiency is gaining importance in Serbia, especially taking into consideration the energy intensity and CO2 emissions. Under the program “Promotion of Investments in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in the Banking Sector/ Eco Loans”, Erste Bank Novi Sad has signed a EUR 15 million credit line with KfW with the objective to increase and deepen access of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to EE finance thus contributing to the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions in Serbia.
MACS is awarded with the contract to support Erste Bank in successfully implementing the EE credit line and thus enabling MSMEs in Serbia to finance EE investments.
