For our Climate-Team, we are looking for a

Engineer in energy, utility, mechanical or process engineering

with expertise in the areas of Energy Efficiency of buildings and industrial plants, calculation of GHG emissions (GHG Protocol), Green Economy and Responsible Sustainable Finance.

Your profile:

  • University degree in energy, utilities, mechanical or process engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Three years if relevant professional experience as an engineer in the EE fields preferably in Germany
  • Solid know-how and references in the aforementioned tasks and work areas
  • Flexibility to travel and work in an international context
  • Enthusiasm, ability to work in a team including curiosity, creativity and motivation
  • Excellent Language Skills in German and English (spoken and written), additional language skills are an advantage

Your duties and areas of work will include:

  • Project Management and Coordination
  • Implementation of RE and EE projects and integrated climate change projects with a focus on financial institution portfolio assessments
  • Preparation of GHG Footprint calculations
  • Implementation of support to financial institutions in the development of green credit lines
  • Management and implementation of technical due diligence processes
  • Calculation and assessment of energy generation or savings potentials and GHG emissions (Impact Assessments)
  • Preparation of market and project studies
  • Active collaboration and management in the area of acquisition
