In the context of the Project Implementation of the "Durrës Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project", funded by the French Development Bank (AFD) for the Albanian National Water and Sewerage Agency (AKUK), the consortium consisting of Posch & Partners, MACS, Hydroconseil, Emscher Wassertechnik and EWEC Water organized a stakeholder workshop including representatives of AFD, AKUK, the international and national project team, the utility management and utility representatives as well as the local government.
The Goal of the Workshop is to define a hands-on approach for the improvement of the current situation of the Durrës Water Utility, considering the results of the diagnostic report and the contributions of all stakeholders.
Developing the approach in close cooperation with the experts and clients on site will improve the ownership understanding of all participating experts as well as highlight the issues that are understood as most crucial by the Utility Management and ensure project momentum in the following months.
The workshop was precedet by a meeting with the project steering committee and the local government.
