The conference hosted a range of international experts, including researchers, academics, consultants and industry professionals. During the three days, our E&S expert actively engaged in the discussions, workshops and presentations. Additionally, she took the opportunity to expand her knowledge, establish professional connections and exchange experiences relating to the projects conducted at MACS.
The conference included topics in which MACS has a broad experience, such as non-Revenue Water and community engagement, as well as the planning and implementation of water efficiency programs. Additionally, constructive and fascinating discussions were held around other relevant topics, such as water recycling and reuse to reduce urban water demand, urban drainage and stormwater, innovation and technology for water efficiency. Throughout the conference, it was encouraging and highly motivating to see the creative solutions proposed to tackle climate change and develop more sustainable and resilient cities. Our E&S expert left the conference with valuable fresh insights that she hopes to apply in current and future projects at MACS.
