This week, the contract signature and the official kick-off for the Phase V of the project took place with the Team Leader and Managing Director of MACS, Mr. Matthias Hitzel and the Mayor of the City of Batumi, Mr. Archil Chikovani.
The official commencement of services will start in December and continue until November 2029. The Main Focus of the Project is to provide the Municipality of Batumi and the Water Utility Batumi Tskali with training and support measures to ensure a sustainable operation and maintenance of the newly contructed Waste Water Treatment Plant in the Implementation Consultant Project while allso supporting further development of Human rexource capacities and financial sustainability.
