In the context of MACS' activities for the Ajara Rural Water and Sanitation Project in Georgia, which is being implemented since 2019, multiple contract amendments have been drafted and finalized in 2025, in order to extend the project area and include desing activites for the Area of Khelvachauri, which is located close to the Batumi Municipality.
For the assessment of detailed design requirements, a topographical assessment of the area has been created, which enables the technical staff of MACS' team to now focus on the design of the planned pumping stations, water reservoirs and water supply system extensions.
