On March 15th 2024, the groundbreaking event for the construction for the Ajara Water Supply and Wastewater Program was implemented at one construction site in Ochkhamiuri, in the Kobuleti municipality, symbolically for the entire Program.
The chairman of the Ajara government, members of Georgian and Ajara parliament as well as the minister of Finance and Economy of Ajara were actively participating as well as representatives of the EU, German Embassy and KfW. With the groundbreaking, construction works will start in all Program regions and the Program measures will be implemented in 5 semi-urban municipal centers and 39 villages.
