The Fund would foresee combining donor funds with local commercial financing and Technical Assistance approaching the turnaround of a water and sanitation utility with the provision of Financial and Technical Assistance. The Feasibility Study was implemented in parallel covering several selected countries on three continents. Based on the recommendations, it will be decided in which countries and in which way to proceed with the Fund, based on a second stage of Feasibility Assessment.
