MACS Energy & Water proudly announce its participation in the “IWA Water and Development Congress and Exhibition 2023” , hosted by the International Water Association, that took place in the beautiful city of Kigali, capital of Rwanda, from December 10th to December 14th, 2023.
The event carries the keynote “Water, sanitation and climate resilience – keys to a water-wise future” and had many technical sections, workshops and plenaries that reunited colleagues from the water sector with a very diverse range of countries, companies and experience in the sector.
In the context of Climate Assessment, the Project Manager Filipi Libório presented the work “Climate Mitigation and Resilience Assessments for an Urban Water Utility in Java Island, Indonesia”, from the project developed for Water.org (USA) and PDAM Sleman (the selected water utility from Indonesia) in the past year.
The project consisted in a full climate assessment for a selected water utility in Indonesia. The selection of the utility was also made by MACS via Multi-Criteria Analysis in the Inception Phase, and then the Climate Mitigation Assessment was developed via ECAM tool.
