MACS together with Fichtner W&T was contracted by KfW to finalize the Piauí I Program and to set up the bases to Piauí II.

The Piauí II will focus on the provision of clean water and sanitary facilities in 20 municipalities for 1,800 families in the state of Piauí (Brazil). The management model of the systems will follow the same principles developed by MACS since the beginning of the Piauí I: SISAR.

Our mission is to strengthen SISAR by enhancing its management methods and giving full support to PROSAR over the measures under the framework of Piauí II. The model SISAR is already a reference in the management of small water systems and sewerage systems in Brazil.
