MACS is assisting the Ministry of Water of Tanzania in refining the concept for an Investment Financing Facility (IFF) in a KfW-study including implementation of pilot projects. The IFF is linked to an Output based Aid mechanism for water utility infrastructure financing in Tanzania.
Our team assist the Ministry of Water in establishing the facility, establishing a Steering Committee and also prepare the relevant procedures and guidelines.
MACS will further, in close cooperation with the Tanzanian water utilities, prepare and implement pilot projects using the new IFF facility.

Wolfgang is very experienced in planning, appraising and supervising water and sanitation projects in urban and rural water as well as interdisciplinary projects in infrastructure, energy saving and environmental protection in over 45 different countries around the globe.
At MACS, Wolfgang supports our Water Department with technical and project management expertise in both rural and urban Water and Sanitation and interdisciplinary infrastructure projects. Besides German, Wolfgang is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
