GERMANY: Resolution on Integrated Municipal Climate Change Mitigation Strategy

The City Council Meeting of Bad Nauheim has officially decided on the Integrated Climate Change Mitigation Strategy, intending to implement 42 climate mitigation measures to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of the entire city. The aim is to achieve climate neutrality by the earliest possible date, but no later than 2045. In the run-up to this decision, MACS supported the City Council and specifically the Climate Forum in developing and assessing three climate scenarios considering different intensity levels of implementation measures as well as an economic evaluation of the scenarios.

MACS is excited to see the result of the supporting activities and will follow along as the measures and activities commence for implementing the Climate Change Mitigation Strategy.
