In the context of the Capacity Building Activities for the Local Communities Programme in Edinet, Moldova, an awareness raising workshop for gender equality in Utilities and Municipalities has been implemented over the last week.
The goal of the awareness raising workshops and trainings is to improve the capacities of local staff and improve the understanding for gender specific strategies and developments with positive effects on the overall utility productivity.
The Gender and Communication Expert Lia Davitadze implemented the Workshop at the Edinet Municipality for the employees of the municipality administration, rayon administration and the water utility (Apacanal Edinet).
